Inroads

Find jobs where you actually know someone.

How this started

We've hired lots of people over the years. Most came from referrals. So we thought: why not find jobs the same way?

People aren't sitting around watching their company's job board. But if you ask them to refer you? They often get paid for it. And they'd probably appreciate the chance to help you out. Win-win.

The problem is timing. Don't waste your asks with "hey, know of any jobs at your place?" when there's nothing open. That's a dead-end conversation.

Flip the script: Wait for a job to actually be posted. Find it. Then reach out to your connection. They refer. You get in. We've seen this work hundreds, if not thousands of times.

Found out you can export your LinkedIn connections, and thought it'd be slick to build something that pairs people you know with jobs at their companies.

Kinda evolved from there. Turns out checking hundreds of company career pages manually is impossible. But computers are good at that. So that's what we built.

Why it works

Referred candidates are 4-5× more likely to get hired

54% of workers landed their job through a connection

MyPerfectResume Survey

Your connections would help if they knew what was open. They're just not watching their company's job board. That's where this comes in.

What Inroads does

🔍 We watch the actual job boards

Not LinkedIn Easy Apply. Not aggregators. Not affiliate spam sites. We integrate directly with company career pages — the real ATS platforms where jobs are posted first (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Taleo, and more).

🤝 We match jobs to your network

Import your connections and we'll check every new job posting against your network to surface the ones where you have a real contact who can refer you.

🎯 We score based on what YOU care about

Not some one-size-fits-all algorithm. If salary is your #1 priority? Cool, we got you. Prefer remote work? Director-level roles only? AI companies? You set the weights, we do the math.

⚡ We keep it fresh

Daily updates. Automatic cleanup of dead links. New jobs surface within 24 hours. Thousands of active opportunities, refreshed constantly.

How it works

1

Import your network

Export your LinkedIn connections as a CSV and upload it to Inroads. We'll match your network against thousands of companies.

2

Set your preferences

What job levels? Which industries? Preferred locations? Skip keywords? How much does salary matter vs. role level? You're in control.

3

We sync, score, and rank

Every day, Inroads connects to company career pages to find new opportunities. We score every job based on your criteria and rank them so your best matches are on top.

4

See your top matches instantly

Dashboard shows your best opportunities, who you know at each company, and even AI-powered "why you're a fit" analysis for each role.

The philosophy

Referrals > Cold Apply: 70-85% of jobs are filled through referrals. We focus exclusively on companies where you have a connection.

Quality > Quantity: 100 warm leads beat 10,000 cold ones. We don't waste your time.

Real Connections: Your actual network, not strangers-for-hire or "networking" consultants.

Data Stays Fresh: Daily updates mean you see new jobs fast and dead links disappear automatically.

Simple > Clever: No gimmicks. Just clean data, smart scoring, and a fast dashboard.

What's this cost?

Right now? Nothing. We're just a couple folks who built this for ourselves. Job searching sucks. We wanted to fix it.

The infrastructure costs a few bucks a month to track jobs for our own searches. A few more to let others use it too. We don't really need money out of it at this scale.

If it grows or more people start using it, maybe that changes. But for now? Have at it. Good vibes, helping folks land jobs. That's the point.
